Hi. Are there any issues with single guys staying at camp sites in Istria? I'm thinking of staying at Koversada or Valalta but don't want any problems checking in! Thanks in advance.

I think that single men are not allowed in Koversada, except if you have a INF card. Probably the same policy is in Valalta and Solaris.

I arrived in Rovinj a day earlier than planned and had no hotel; I stayed at Valalta and I asked if I could stay as a single and they said, sure, and seemed surprised by my question. They explained that it was a nudist resort.
I dressed for the evening meal and for breakfast. Other than that, I was nude at the pool. I really enjoyed the waterslide and the beach areas; even though it was cool that day.
I was dismayed to see some swimsuits though; I'd think that at a nudist resort, nude was the rule.
So, yes, you can go as a single male.

Just to be clear, I am not the John who made the original post asking about single men. I was in Rovinj two years ago.
